How difficult is RAID?

I'm looking into building my first system, and would like to use the KT7-A and incorporate RAID-0. How difficult is it to set up hard drives in a RAID configuration? Is it just a simple matter of plugging them into the motherboard correctly, or is there more configuring that has to be done? Any info you can share is appreciated.

It is actually very simple with these newer RAID controllers. The KT7A-RAID has a separate bios for the RAID controller. You go into its setup screen and set it how you want. As far as plugging in drives, you just connect the IDE cables to the RAID connectors instead of the primary IDE connectors. I'd suggest putting 2 IBM 75GXP series drives in the RAID 0 stripe configuration. Thats my dream...
