how do fix this rct6203w46 tab it has no power

Can you help me turn on my rca tablet it won't power on modl number rct6203w46

Found another post regarding this same tablet and problem. Assuming the battery is charged, the post recommended holding down the power switch for like 5 minutes (no kidding), and it suddenly powered up. The same procedure worked for a guy that had 2 of them that wouldn't power up. Worth a try.
