How do I access a folder on another computer

I'm new to windows 10.

My upstairs computer which I use 90% of the time has Windows 10 and is hardwired to the router.

My downstairs computer has just been upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 8 and is using the upstairs router's wifi.

I want the downstairs computer to be able to access a couple of folders that my upstairs computer has.

What's the easiest way to do this?

Just set up a shared folder and voila!

thanks, I got it now. I had to type in my username and password for my main computer to access the folder on this computer
