How do I access MOBO BIOS?

Hello,

I'm running Windows 8.1 and I know that I don't have UEFI BIOS but have the Legacy BIOS on. I want to know if there are any ways for me to access my motherboard BIOS. On startup, my monitor is off until it gets to the login screen so when my monitor is off on startup I spam the DEL key to try and access my motherboard BIOS but then my monitor doesn't turn on. Is there some way I can get into my motherboard BIOS so I can overclock my CPU? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Hi, Try clearing the CMOS (unplug the power cord and move the CMOS jumper to pins 2,3 for 10 seconds then put it back to pins 1,2). At restart the system would wait for F1. Try also disabling Fast boot in BIOS.

Sorry about the dumb question but how do I access the BIOS, I've been trying to find out the whole day.

As I said, unplug the power cord, open the case, look for 3 pins with a plastic jumper labeled CMOS or similar on the motherboard (bottom right I think), remove the jumper from pins 1,2 and put it on pins 2,3. Leave it like that for 10 seconds, then put it back on pins 1,2.
Plug in the power cord, start the board and the system would wait for F1 to access the BIOS.

what sort of cable connects your screen to Graphics card
VGA DVI HDMI displayport etc ?

(Integrated Graphics or PCI E card - spec shows PCI E only)

acording to specs it does have a uefi bios

First consider using VGA or DVI cable to screen

see what happens if hard disk SATA cable disconnected
(mains power disconnected while working inside case)

Yep, I know it has UEFI, and I'm using DVI Cables.
