How do I add another fan to my CPU Cooler?

Hey guys,

I have 4 questions.

1. Will adding another fan to my heat-sink improve my temps? If so, by how much?

2. Which direction will I need to put it?

3. Where can I find the fans? I'm looking to spend maybe 10 dollars at most. Cheaper is better.

4. How would I install it?

Cryorig H7. Sorry, I forgot to put it.

It looks identical on both sides of the heatsink.

Here is a reveiw stating you could add an extra fan in push pull configuration. Both blow in same direction with one in the front and one in the back. The article states that the cooler comes with a spare wire fan mountfor the addition fan 120mm fan. You could get one from cryorig or go with a 120mm fan from noctua or phantek.

And it looks like my mobo only has 1 4-pin for the intake fan. How do I actually check how many there are? There might be only 1 but I want some confirmation.

A normal 120mm case fan will work although you may want something allittle better like some of the brands mentioned above or order the same fan from cryorig . The two fans can be connected with a 4 pin "Y" connector to the motherboard so both fans can be controlled by cpu temps reported. Try to use two indentical fans.
