Question How do i allocate more power to my GPU (RX570)

I have a Gigabyte rx570 and the power indicator occasionally flahses, recently in game the whole thing cuts out and the indicator stays on indicating no power. I have a 850w power supply so i dont see what the problem is.

That's a very poor quality, generic PSU. It is junk. Do NOT use this to power up the RX 570. I'm skeptical about the build quality of this unit. But since it's a generic cheap PSU, I won't advice you to use this PSU.

PSU is the last component you might want to cheap out on, or skimp. Try to get some other high quality PSU, IF possible. Power supplies are an imperative part of your system that should not be taken lightly. Throwing in a budget PSU could result in poor power efficiency or even a wrecked system. Don't SKIMP on the PSU,, since this is the MOST important PC component. I can't stress this enough.

Even though AMD recommends a 450 Watts PSU for the RX 570, try to get a higher wattage power supply unit, min 550-600 Watts, for some extra headroom as well. BUT most importantly, WATTAGE number alone means nothing when it comes to any power supply.

QUALITY is what really matters. Wattage number is not always important. The quality and the make matters. The main concern is the "quality" of the power, the quality of the components used/CAPS, as well as the total AMP drawn on the +12V RAIL (output), the efficiency under load, "ripple suppression", among other factors. I've seen PSUs labelled as 1K watts, but in actual real world scenarios, they can hardly pull 400 Watts from the wall, even under full load.

What's your budget for the PSU, and where are you located (country) ??

Yes, definitely change that psu. you would be taking a lot of risk if you continue to use that psu brand.

Is everything in the AMD Settings - WattMan tab on "auto"
