Solution drtweak Dec 1, 2015 Just plug it into power, you will need another SATA cable to plug from the motherboard to the SSD and just power the PC on. If you want windows installed on it that is a different story

Seriously, that's pretty much it needs unless as mentioned, you want to BOOT with the SSD, now THAT is separate question.
