How do I block specific wired machines to Modem?

I have a Centurylink Zyxel 1000Z DSL router/modem. There are two machines that are wire connected to the modem with an ethernet cable. I need to block the access for these wired devices for a certain time (parent control of Internet). I tried the mac filtering, but that did not seem to work. Is the MAC filter on the Zyxel Access Scheduler for wireless connected devices only?

Any thoughts?

My only thought at this point is physically disconnecting the ethernet cables from the modem and locking them out, but I would rather have the system or other solution do this automatically. I do want the access controlled at the router, though.

MAC filtering typically blocks a device indefinitely. Access Scheduler typically disconnects the device from your ISP, which can be useful if you have a download limit.

Parental controls are what you want, but you'll probably have to upgrade the router to get them.
