How do i buy a compatible laptop fan? Also how do i unplug it from mobo safely

My laptop's cooling fan stopped working, I opened it up and figured out how to take the heatsink and fan out but the problem is I don't know how to find a compatible laptop fan online. Also, I noticed that the fan is plugged in the mobo quite tightly, how do i unplug it safely without causing any damage? Help is appreciated.

what is the make/model of you laptop? google/ebay "make/model cpu fan" I'm sure you will find results, or just go to the manufactures site and find where u can look at replacement parts there. most likely it will come as a heat sink/fan assembly.

as for being quite tightly look for around the plug make sure theres not a small tab or lock on the plug that you have to lift to unplug it. they should lift out quite easy. put a picture of a plug here if you need more help. thanks
