How do I change from color to black and white print on a Canon MP620?

from color to black & white? the color cartridges are empty but the black ones are full...

Not all printers will let you print when any of the ink is empty. You can change it in print options of whatever you are printing, or right-click on the printer, go to Properties and look there.
