How do I change from Integrated to my GTX 970?

Hi everyone,
So I just finished changing my pc case, the old one was just too cramped, had little cable management and terrible airflow. When I powered it back on after transferring the components across, I couldn't get a display on the monitor though everything else including the GPU, was powering on. After some research I realised it could be the RAM, as I had just upgraded it, however I then tried the integrated graphics HDMI input on the rear IO panel instead of the GTX 970 HDMI input and it worked perfectly. However, I still cannot get the GTX 970 to display anything when I switch back to attempt to use it. It's lighting up, the fans spin during the initial power on, and the CAM software from my Kraken x31, and device manager are acknowledging its there, and that its drivers are up to date and working normally? MSI afterburner is still telling me its temperature.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it as my primary graphics card? I looked in the BIOS but couldn't make too much sense of it, and i'm kind of new to this so I didn't want to risk changing something for the worse.

PC specs are:
I5 4590
MSI z97 gaming 3
MSI GTX 970
8gb Hyper x Savage
NZXT Kraken x31
Corsair CS650m

Solution
Press DEL to get into your BIOS then choose...
1. Settings
2. Advanced
3. Integrated Graphics Configuration
4. "Initiate Graphic Adapter" set to [PEG]

Those are EXACT instructions based on information provided by your motherboards OWNERS MANUAL.
Unfortunately the setting you looking for is in the BIOS. You need to fix it so that the first place it looks for a video card is the PCI-e slot and not the primary slot. Unfortunately every bios is different so you'll just have to look youself. Don't worry about screwing anything up. The setting is pretty obvious when you see it and the BIOS itself can easily be reset by removing the battery.

That worked! Thank you so much! :)
