How do i change the frequency my car dvd player plays on?

The dvd player audio is set to play on 98.1. We have recently moved and now that station is a working station in our area so the dvd sound gets cut out. How do I change it to a different working frequency? How do I find out what frequencies my dvd player uses? I do have a switch I have to flip for the dvd audio but the radio station signal is too strong. It does not work to just turn the station to one that is all static.. Please note, this is a 2005 vehicle that I purchased in 2008 with the dvd player already installed. To my knowledge, I have no manual for the dvd.

Try to find a serial or product identification of the DVD player. Look up its manual online. There must be a way to cycle stations they all have it in some way (was there a remote with it you lost possibly?).

You may not be able to find the model number, but the make should be apparent. Do some google or bing image searches once you know the make and see if you can find the model number. Then search for a manual for that make and model car dvd player. An example search would be "sony car dvd player fm trasnmitter" or something similar.
