How do I change the settings to just have external moniter

My screen cracked on my laptop so I hooked it up to flat screen TV, it was working then I changed the settings and my external monitor is black. It starts up fine, the windows logo comes on on the external moniter, then it goes black, I need to change the settings

When your computer turns on and displays the login screen on your main screen which is set to your laptop screen. The tv will stay black until you sign in. You'll have to blindly navigate and sign in, then the second screen should turn on and from there go and set your tv to your main display and save.
