I am looking to buy a used i3 6100 processor and I am affraid that there will be some deffects with that.(Specially memory controller faults)

How can I check the CPU memory controller and the health?

I am a beginner and please teach me simply.

MEMTEST is a good diagnostic for memory testing -- https://www.memtest86.com/ It will create a self booting USB or CD. No OS installation required.

First of all thank you for your kind reply. I have searched google for the memtest86 and it is hard to find some guides about CPU checkups on it. All vidoes are base with RAM ttroubleshootings. Therefore kindly advice me as I am a begginer.

It doesn't focus on CPU internals. It does test CPU, memory and motherboard as a system. There are other CPU focused tests like Prime95. I like memtest because if there is a cache issue, or memory controller issue those areas are stressed it also doesn't require an OS installation.
