How do i Choose where to install programs?

Hi, I just purchased an MSI laptop that came with a 1TB HDD and i asked for a 120GB SSD to be installed after purchase.
I dont know how to choose .where to install programs. On "my computer" I have a Local Disk C, and a Local Disk D. Im assuming my Local Disk C is the SSD because it says 90GB of 111GB free and the Local Disk D says 921 GB free of 921 GB. The Local Disk C has the Windows symbol on top of it, i dont know what that means.

Can i just drag the programs from Local Disk C into Local Disk D? I would like to know how to choose between installing in the SSD or the HDD.

Hi, When installing a program, select custom and you'll be asked to provide the installation path. However, some of the program libraries, shortcuts, registries... will be installed on C.
