How do i clean a Cherry Mx Blue switch with 99% Iso Alcohol?

Solution
you'll want to test the alcohol on a non-critical area. I wouldn't expect it to cause issues but I recently found that alcohol can etch some plastics. Which may cause more problems than is solves.

Assuming the plastic can survive the alcohol, then I would remove the key cap and apply the alcohol around the edges of the stem, as that is likely where you are getting most of your resistance in movement. Then press the key a few times to work out the goop that is causing the key to stick. Keep pressing until the key moves freely or the alcohol dries up. Apply more alcohol if the key is still sticking and repeat the process. You didn't describe Why you wanted to clean the switch, so I have to assume it's because the key is sticking.
