hi,
I currently have 2 dir-612(basically the cheaper and Asian version of the 615), one as my main router and one as my AP, I'm planning to change my main router to a Netgear CG3100D-2BPAUS because it has USB ports and support for USB hard drives and they're sold for really cheap, my question is how do you configure an access point to match the main routers IP address?, I currently have one of the main router's LAN port connected to the AP's WAN port, some people told me to connect the main router's LAN to the AP's LAN and turn off DHCP, but when I try that my AP's IP address changed from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.10, they're both configured with the same SSID and password to seamlessly change networks.
Thank you for taking your time to read this,
Tristan.
