How do I configure ASUS dual band router to my HP 8500 printer?

I just bought an ASUS dual band wireless router (RT-AC56U) and I'm having trouble configuring it to my HP Office Jet 8500. The ASUS directions don't describe how to do this and hoping that someone here can help. Thanks!

does the printer support wireless?

are you trying to set it up wired or wireless?
