How do I connect a Dell desktop to my Verizon wireless modem?

I just inherited a Dell desktop that appears not to be ready for wireless; it is a dialup. Since all my other computers, laptops, etc., operate via my wireless connection, what is needed to get this Dell operational? My grandkids are chomping at the bit to use this new computer.

The easiest and least expensive solution is to buy a wireless USB adapter. I use a lot of THIS MODEL, which is easy to install and only requires one USB 2.0 port. So either list your Dell Desktop model or check if it has a USB 2.0 port. If it is too old to have USB 2.0, then you may need to install a PCI card.
