How do I connect a Samsung LA40C550J1R tv to an old Arcam amp to get l & r stereo sound

I have an old Arcam amp with rca connectors. I need to connect the sound from a Samsung La40c550j1r HD TV output into the amp

Easiest: Headphone Out to Arcam.

Slightly more difficult: Toslink ---- (Toslink to RCA converter) ----> Arcam.
