How do I connect female Molex cables to a PSU?

My case is the CiT Dominator, my mobo is the ASRock B75 Pro3 and my PSU (not arrived yet) is a Corsair CX600M. My problem is that I have two female Molex cables dangling inside my case and I don't know how I am to plug them in. One comes from the side panel and gives power to two fans which have maunual fan control and the other comes from the big bundle on wires, and powers the front and back fans, which both have sliders on the front panel to change fan speed.

I posted a previous thread and I learnt I should plug the fans into the PSU not the Mobo, but what cable do i need? and will it come with my PSU?

Solution
This sounds the wrong way round. PSUs tend to have female connectors and components male connectors (helps to avoid short circuits). Are you sure the plugs on the fans are female? If they are then you'll need a male to male plug to join them to the PSU.

You are correct but this is clearly a case of mistaken gender by the OP rather than a case manufacturer getting it wrong.... or is it.....

I just double checked. Both have four holes each, no pins

Oh crap! Ijack is right! Those are indeed completely the wrong molex connectors! You will need adaptors. I still can't believe a company would ship a product that is incapable of performing without an additional two purchases, just because they used the wrong molex connector! Is it too late to change the case?

The problem is I quite like this case 😛 luckily i explained my situation to a friend and he said if i needed any extra parts he would take me to the local store to get them. What adaptors do i need or what connectors can i change?

If changing connectors means tracing wires and replacing the cable I think i'll just stick an adapter on because the wires are all bundled up and stored beneath a metal panel.

Thanks guys

As Ijack said, get male to male adaptors (two). Replacing the connectors requires purchasing the right ones and then some soldering so if you don't have the equipment or the expertise it's cheaper to get the adaptors.

Sincere apologies for not believing you earlier. Make sure 'Best solution' goes to Ijack, and if you can, warn anyone else via buyer feedback about the issue.

Thanks very much guys, I will do

uhm i have the same bemusing issue, corsair power supply has female molex, zalman z11 case fans have female molex, but the male to male adapters don't exist in fact i can't even imagine what to call them, did yoou find a connector with male on both sides, if so please post a link, all this astonishing technology, with the wrong plugs?

ah thanks, i'm in the uk, but at least i know they exist and have a name, such a silly problem, uk amazon is littered with molex cables, all female or male to data power agghhh hehe
thanks again

Hey I live in the UK too so I couldn't find any male to male cables, but I did find some solutions. I'm going to do this briefly because I just wrote it all up in a big essay and then my WiFi died so I can't be bothered to do it again :')

Firstly double check that the cables really are only female because it turned out for me that my cables had female on the front and male on the reverse, and that was the same on the psu cables.

If not you could trace the wire and see if there are 3-pin fan cables at the start because there are cables that can go from 3-pin to Molex that you could use.

There are some DIY solutions you could use but I don't trust myself to suggest things because I'll probably break your cables.
