I don't know how to connect my Deepcool SC790 PWM fan hub's SATA power port to the 6 pin to SATA power port on my PSU. Normally one of the "ends" will have gold pins sticking out allowing the SATA connection to be made. However, since both my fan hub and the power supply's cable have the "holes" in them I can't figure out how to connect them. My fans connected to the PWM hub are not spinning because of this issue. Is there an adapter that will add the gold pins thus allowing the PWM fan hub to be connected to my power supply? I would prefer to have my case fans actually start spinning.

Nobody wants to be the reason for something blowing up which is probably why nobody says anything.
Pins sticking out is "male" holes is "female" ,this goes for every kind of plug in any situation.
I can only assume that deepcool put a female plug on the hub to prevent people from using a normal sata cable, and the only reason for that would be if they use a different pinout.
I would read the manual to see if they say something about that, there might have been a cable in the package that you mistook for a normal sata cable but is the cable that you need for this.
