How do I connect my LG tv to my old Pioneer tuner?

I have an LG42LF5600 tv and a VSX-402 Pioneer tuner. How do I get them connected? Can it be done? 21 years seperate the two.

Looks like the pioneer has RCA connections on it. Thats probably the only way you can connect it

Your only audio output is the optical port. You will need an adapter like this -- http://www.amazon.com/Panlong-Optical-Toslink-Coaxial-Converter/dp/B00ANIIY9I/ref=sr_1_8?s=aht&ie=UTF8&qid=1454185967&sr=1-8 It supports both surround and stereo input to analog output.
