Question How do I connect my PC to wifi when my router is downstairs?

Hello, I downloaded an os onto my PC and need to connect it to wifi, but it says Miracast is not supported. Can I connect my PC to wifi?
Specs if you need them are;
Motherboard; B550M HDV
CPU; 5 5500
GPU; AMD 5700XT
RAM; VIPER
OS;Windows 11
Also when I check device manager it says my GPU is 'Microsoft Basic Display Adapter"

Close, but not exactly. After drivers are installed and device is working, you would have to connect to your wireless network (with you password/passphrase).

I would not recommend the second device. You would be better served with the first one.

Regardless, either device will allow you to connect to your wireless network.

USB devices get quite hot. They can get in the way at times and can get broken easily by accident (like banging up against it).

Once you connect to a network, you can download the AMD chipset and video drivers to sort out some of your other issues:

Yes, you install the chipset and video drivers I mentioned earlier.
