I don't have much/any experience with Terminal Service.

I am trying to connect to a Windows 2000 server that has Terminal Service
already installed. How can I connect to the server so I can remote admin it
with my XP computer?

Hi,
You need a client software "Remote Desktop Connection" to connect to TS
From your XP client computer start MSTSC.EXE => type your TS server name and
your credentials => click Connect button
Check all the options the "Remote Desktop Connection" gives you to make the
connection as you desire. You may save your setting on the desktop using
Save As... button and next time connect after one simple click
