I am considering retiring from battlefield 4 (PC) because all of the time and herculean efforts I've put into the game (I am ranked #6 in the world) have taken a toll on my physical and mental health.

How do I go about permanently deleting my soldier/battlelog profile?

I Dont know about fully deleting the profile, but if you wish to completely reset your profile, goto the settings tab. I presume that you, being the 6th best player in the world, have premium,which allows you to delete your progress. if so, once at the settings page, head to the soldiers tab, and hit reset. Sorry if this doesn't solve your whole problem, but this is the only way I'm aware of to do what you ask.
