I'm trying to free up space on my boot drive (90GB SSD).
I have had hibernation disabled for quite some time, but now that the SSD is filled to the point I can't install any more updates without upgrading (which the finances don't currently allow), I want to delete my Hiberfil.sys.
AUSLogics Disk Defrag shows a big gray unmovable file named hiberfil.sys, but when I right click an open containing folder (C:\), I cannot find it, even with the search function.
I do have "View Hidden Files and Folders" enabled, so why can I not find and delete hiberfil.sys?
