I am building a PC and would like to know if it is possible to disable an m2 drive in the BIOS.
The build plan is an ASRock Z370 fatal1ty i7 with two bootable EVO 970 m.2 drives with a separate Windows 10 Pro license on each m.2
Some of the flight sim software and add on software I’ll be running will search other drives and create conflicts, so I need to disable the drive when I am not using it.
In my current rig I have 2 SSDs on SATA cables and I manually disconnect the SATA cable. This won’t be so simple with m.2 so I am asking if there is a way to disable the m.2 in the BIOS when not using it rather than physically removing the m.2 from the motherboard.
The PC is part of a flight simulator network of PCs. I’m running P3d and xPlane and some add on software. I’ve got a 737 flight deck in my attic jetmax.ca ; my Son wants to fly f-18s, dog fight & shoot missiles and practice instrument flying. So he will be on the second m.2, the first one is only P3d and sim avionics software.
