[SOLVED] How do I disable Wattman?

I feel kinda dumb asking this, but how do I disable wattman?

Are you trying to revert to the default settings? By "disabling" what are you hoping to gain/change?

I'm not wanting to gain or change anything. I just want to disable it. When I installed the new (RX 580) driver, I accidentally left it enabled during setup. Now I can't find my way back to that option to disable it.

I don't see a way to disable it on my 3 rigs running AMD GPUs. You can remove the Radeon app and just install the basic driver manually, that should serve the purpose of disabling.

OK. May have to resort to the re-install. I thought maybe I was being an idiot not being able to find a way to disable it in Radeon Settings. Thanks.

I am doing some benchmark comparisons and didn't want to take the chance of Wattman to skewing the results.

Btw (and totally off topic), why don't the Alerts disappear after they are read like they did on the old forum? Still bugs to work out?
