how do i download a mac file?

hi, i have a software that i want to download but it is a mac type of file (i think)
it is .dmg file.

how do i click it and let it open the setup?
when i open it on my macbook it run perfectly but on my windowns pc it cant open. so i download dmg file extractor but i doesnt help me open the setup it only open the folders

Mac software will only run on Mac.
Look for a Windows version, if one is available.
