Good-day, my specs are:
Windows Vista SP2 x64
MATX MSI 7207 K8NGM2-FID
After weeks of trial and error I finally got the sound working by installing the proper drivers for the mother board. However, now the Bass for the newly installed drivers 'Realtek HD Audio' has no bass. The sound is working, but without bass.
Things I have tried:
a) Verify it's up to date.
b) Disabled all enhancements for all sound drivers.
c) Reboot
d) Disabled sound drivers except Realtek
e) Set the front audio jack as default.
My conclusion is that the Bass & remaining audio are being sent separately to both the back and front audio jack.
Additionally, when I go to 'Playback Devices' there are three options available. 'Speakers' (Which says 'not plugged in'), 'Realtek HD Audio' (Which enabled the sound to work, but without Bass) & finally, 'Realtek Digital Output'.
How do I fix this problem?
P.S. I broke my headphones on the back jack and now a part of it is jammed into the back audio jack.
