[SOLVED] how do i enable bluetooth on my laptop?

my bluetooth is disabled on my toshiba laptop, it says "bluetooth network connection, no connection". also in alert section on the right side it also says "not connected".

the weird thing is that when i try to connect it, it does seem to pick up on the earbuds but it then asks me for a PIN or passcode. someone online told me to insert 0000 but that didnt work. then it tells me to contact the manufacturer but i dont see anywhere where it says any type of pin or passcode....im not sure if really needs a password or that the bluetooth is just not enabled. any help?

It seems BT is working if it gets to the pairing stage.

Bluetooth needs to pair itself with the device before it will use it. That could be the pin/password its asking for.

what earbuds are they?

reminds me I haven't paired my headset to this PC yet.

mine are JBL tune225tws earbuds. im thinking its a driver issue but it does seem to connect to them somehow even if the driver is disabled and ive already tried different methods of enabling, thats why im confused....but i will try your pin suggestion, thanks
