All the search results I found say :
  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Click the menu button. It's the three dots button on the top-right.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Scroll down and click View advanced settings.
  5. Turn on or off the toggle switch for the "Have Cortana assist me in Microsoft Edge" option.
There's no View advanced settings option listed for me.

which version of win 10
  1. right click start
  2. choose run...
  3. type winver and press enter
  4. current version is 21H1
Version might not matter, it might.. just more info to use.

current is Version 92.0.902.78

Okay, I see the problem, I don't have that menu choice either

Edge is built on Chromium now and it removed the advanced Settings menu in 2020 - https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...edge-for/a7fefdff-9c2f-4dbd-9892-75217d21bd63 and most of the menu items are on other tags. Searching for Cortana reveals nothing

I am not sure if it exists on the new Edge. That menu is not there in win 11 either.

I am having difficulty confirming it is gone as most guides are based on how it was before they swapped Edge.
Microsoft are reducing its uses so its possible it doesn't work the same way with edge as it did before.
