My pc has unsupported hardware for win 11, it does not impact my performance. I want to know how to enable hibernation, because if I try it with cmd it just gives me an error.

My specs are:
Intel Core i5-2500
Nvidia GeForce GT 630 2GB
32 GB of DDR3 RAM
NCR Pocono Motherboard

I also don't have TPM 2.0

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

What "unsupported hardware" are you using?

By definition "unsupported" means that some component features (power saving, hibernation) etc. may not work.

More information needed.

Sorry I updated it now. I don't know if it could be my motherboard that is the problem.

Do I understand that the motherboard is "unsupported"? Basis?

What device(s) do you wish to hibernate?

"because if I try it with cmd it just gives me an error. "

What commands are you trying to use via the cmd (Command Prompt)?

What specific error or errors are presented when hibernation attempts fail?

Devices are normally configured for power saving, hibernation via their own control panels or via Windows.

Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer.

Reliability History is much more user friendly so the errors are likely to be easily noted.

Event Viewer is much more cumbersome and takes time and effort to understand.

The following command is the one I used and the error message I got:

C:\Windows\system32>powercfg.exe /hibernate on
Hibernation failed with the following error: The request is not supported.

The following items are preventing hibernation on this system.
The system firmware does not support hibernation.
