I am trying to use my motherboard's wifi in Windows 11 in my second bedroom. My xfinity router is in my living room which is next door. I will be moving the router into the second bedroom.

I have a dlink usb wifi adapter plugged in to the front usb, but I'd rather use my motherboard wifi. However, my problem is enabling the motherboard wifi in Windows. I have downloaded drivers, extracted it and tried to run it. Nothing.

Thanks in advance.

Yes. Whats the model name of your motherboard?
Are you sure, it has built in wifi? Because most boards don't have it.

Did you connect wifi antennas to your motherboard?

Update your post to include full system hardware and OS specs.

Also run "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt and post the results.

You should be able to copy and paste the results with no need to retype everything.
