hi, can somebody tell me how I can enable logon with Windows 98?

Glee provided you the answer, but be aware that the Windows 98 logon window
does not keep users out.
If you just click on the cancel button, you are in and accessing the
computer.

The only thing the logon window does is setup your desktop.

I *think* this is how you do it:

Right click Network Neighborhood.
Click Properties
Change "Primary Network Logon" to "Client for Microsoft Networks"

I know that to disable it you change it to "Windows Logon".
