[SOLVED] How do I extend power supply wires?

Is there an extension I can buy for this or will I need to cut it up and splice using the black harness I have also picture? I'm using the guts from an HP Z620 to make a gamer. Pretty sweet if you ask me. e5-1650 + R9 380 + 32GB DDR3 1866 + 800w HP psu.

Plenty of places sell extensions for those, check out Newegg or CableMod to start. They even have options for customizing color and material

8-pin EPS extension, a 4+4 pin should also work if that's the only one you can find but most will be 8-pin. PCIe can also be 8-pin but they wont work for a CPU.

Thanks for the heads up on the pcie 8pin. Didn't figure it would work but definitely tried it before I read this. Waiting on the extension to come in the mail now. Ordered one Newegg.
