clean install isn't exactly a factory reset.
Factory reset doesn't wipe windows, it just wipes most of the programs and your user but not the entire drive.
clean install replaces it all
whichever you choose, you need one of these - On another PC, download the
Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB
reset -
boot from installer
on screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install.
choose troubleshoot
choose reset this PC
choose wipe it all
Clean install - see above.
Oddly enough, clean installs can be faster, and resets can wipe the entire drive.
