Hello,
i have a dells inspiron 530s intel based chipset g33 i'm trying to get better graphics but need a card that will fit in my case prefferably without changing my psu

I thought this was a laptop, but I was wrong. I'd have to see the specs in order to determine what slots you have on your motherboard. If it's capable of PCI-E 1.0 (I doubt 2.0) I think you can still get cards for it, but if it uses AGP you may have to resort to eBay.

@colgeek: great info... my pc does great with everything except graphics... i was concerned about upgrading b/c i read of some people having a problem with the psu having enough juice thus burning up some parts

It's not the best of the best, where have you been last 9 months or so ?

If you wanne give sound advice read the question right and don't just shout "6870" every time you see a question about a gpu.
Advicing a 6870 for a 250W psu without mentioning it needs 500w is, well, bad advice, to say it nicely.

I did a similar upgrade to a HD5570 card and consequently bought a better PSU.

HIS Silence H557HR1G Radeon HD 5570 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16
PointTek TFX 400W Power Supply

They work great. Hope that helps.
