Question How do I find my windows 10 key?

So say if I need to replace my motherboard as the key is tied into it. But I do not have access to my motherboard. How could I still find my key if I want to change my motherboard? Will I find my key if I linked it up to Microsoft email account? I bought it from Newegg as a digital download as opposed to the retail version. I do not think I have wrote down my windows 10 key

You get all this in order before you need it.

If you purchased it, then the license key should be in an email.
