[SOLVED] How do i find out if my motherboard (to be filled by O.E.M) is compatible with AMD Ryzen 5 3400G processor?

So i bought this PC off a friend for 150 pounds which is amazing. He has a poo processor though. I want to upgrade but have no clue what motherboard his PC has. I asked him, hes forgot. Will i have to open the PC to find the model number?

Yes.
Take the side panel off. There should be info printed on the motherboard.

Ok update: The guy i bought it from said he never changed the motherboard from when he bought the PC pre-built. So i find the computer model number and i think the motherboard is called "GIGABYTE FM2+ Series Motherboard" thank you for commenting though. Now i have to see if it is compatible with this cpu i want to get.

You need to determine ALL the parts in it.

Also, plan fo a full wipe and reinstall. OS and everything else.

Thank you I've found out that the processor is not comparable with the motherboard as it is very old. How do i mark a post as solved?
