Question How do I fix a no signal to monitor after updates?

This desktop has worked fine since 2019. About 8/9 August Dell Optimizer told me there were 4 updates to be made. One was for bios and one was for UHD graphics. I cant remember the rest. I ran the updates and had to restart the computer. Ever since the restart, the monitor gets no signal. How can I fix anything if I can't see anything?

Dell I7-8700 with 8GB ram and 1TB hard drive and integrated graphics.
Microcenter added:
Nvidea GTX1050ti pcic graphics card
8GB ram (for total of 16)
256 SSD
Monitor - ASUSVG248QE

I have unplugged the monitor and the display port, with no changes. I am reluctant to try and turn off the computer and turn it back on in case that changes something for the worse. Another option is to run an hdmi cable from what looks like the mother board to the monitor and try and unplug the display port cable to the dedicated graphics card, and see if i get a signal that way. Thoughts? I just need to start with being able to see what I am doing on the PC so I can try to fix it.

Plug the monitor in as before and try another restart.

Watch the POST.

See if you can get into BIOS.

If that fails try to boot into Safe Mode.

I appreciate the advice, but it turned out, just finally hitting the power button for a second got a signal to the screen and all is working fine now.
