How do I fix bent mouse cable?

Recently I've noticed that my Alienware Tactx mouse's braided cable has gotten bent. About 4 inches away from the cable's beginning (mouse body). The actual cable is by now out of the cable braid and it turns the mouse off at specific angles which is really annoying during gaming. Can someone help with how I can fix this part of the cable? How can I straighten it or remove just that part of the cable? Thanks

Replace the mouse with a wireless one my friend, no cable to get damaged & one less wire cluttering up your desk.
In fact, if you get a wireless keyboard and mouse set, that's two less wires.

I'm afraid that's not a solution right now, I'll keep that in mind for later though. For right now I just wanna fix this one.
