Hello everyone!
I recently purchased Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (2nd Gen) Audio Interface. I installed the official drivers on my PC (Windows 10 x64). But I'm getting irql_not_less_or_equal (FocusriteUSBSwRoot.sys) Blue Screen of Death error while listening to music or even while using the computer. I re-installed the drivers but still no luck. Any fixes for this issue would be great help.
Here's my dropbox link for the Windows Minidump files for further analysis.

Thanks in advance :)

Solution
I think you machine is having audio conflict with your motherboard audio, your graphics card audio, your new USB audio
with your old midi driver. I would remove the old midi driver and the old drivers if you don't need them.
I would update the motherboard sound driver from here:
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5491#dl

I would go to windows control panel and disable the GPU sound driver if you don't have a speaker in your monitor that gets sound via a video cable.
-----------------

the stack was corrupted in audio code. I would expect that one of your various sound drivers is messing up.

I would remove
MusicLab Virtual MIDI Device driver

Hey!
Thanks for your reply and solution.

I updated my drivers and uninstalled the conflicting softwares/drivers as mentioned from the dump file.
Interesting enough disabling the USB selective suspend option from the Advanced Power options helped me the most.

2i2 is working amazing and BSoD has not repeated since the fix :)
Once again thanks for the solution.
