Question How do I fix my ASUS windows 10 laptop?

My friend asked me if they could use my laptop to charge their phone. I said yeah, not thinking much of it, and then I saw smoke out one of the usb ports and then it just shut off. Can anyone help me?

I saw smoke out one of the usb ports and then it just shut off.
Short of taking the laptop to a certified repair shop for laptops, there's not much you can do with a laptop that's been burned, from the way you've stated it above. If you're located in USA, I've been following a shop on YT, NorthRidgeFix and it's highly likely that a power deliver component on the motherboard needs replacing(apart from the USB port).

That being said, where are you located?

I am in the US, I told my parents and they said we have insurance on the PC. Thank you for your help
