I have an i5 3570k, 16GB DDR3, GTX 780, Samsung 840 250GB, and an HX 750. I haven't experienced this in any other games. I've been looking around and it seems like a lot of people have this issue, but I can't find a fix.

could be a few issues. one check that your motherboard bios is at the newest rev to rule out a bios bug. with the newer intel memory controllers they run better with two dimms then with four dimms. with four dimms you sometimes have to bump the dram and memory controller voltage. also make sure xmp profile is on in the bios. if your running asus bios make sure it set to standard mode and not performace mode. the other mode changes the cpu to ram bus speeds and can cause issues. check the firmware of the ssd and if your still getting lock up check the voltage output of the power supply or try another unit to see if the power supply not holding.

I have a Z77 Extreme 4. The bios are the latest. I do have xmp 1.3 on. 4 DIMMs is 4 memory slots? I have two 8GB sticks. in dual channel. Both at 1600 but the voltages are slightly different: one 1.35 and the other 1.5, I think. I don't really know what I'm doing with voltages, so I haven't changed anything yet on the RAM or the cpu. Also, the SSD has the latest firmware. Is there any voltage setting I should change, and if so, which one? I think the supply works because I haven't had any trouble with other games such as Crysis 1, Crysis 2 and Starcraft II.

I just checked my GPU usage with the game as well and it hovers around 99% and the temp gets to 75C max. Could that be the problem?
