How Do I Fix The Sound?

My specs are as followed:

Windows Vista SP2 x64
MATX MSI 7207 K8NGM2-FID

After weeks of trial and error I finally got the sound working by installing the proper drivers for the mother board. The sound is working, but it doesn't have any bass.

Things I have tried:

a) Verify it's up to date.
b) Disabled all enhancements for all sound drivers.
c) Reboot
d) Disabled sound drivers except Realtek
e) Set the front audio jack as default.

How do I fix this problem?

Don't have any bass out of what? How are the speakers connected and what speakers?

What did you install before you just installed the motherboard drivers? Did you remove all other drivers and only kept the ones from MSI?
