Question How do i fix this screen problem i keep having?

Ive built this computer. Weve haf it for years, and its always been a little "glitchy". Like we get a screen error every like few months or so often, but not a huge problem. Its gotten really bad recently, and the computer can only be on for about maybe 10 minutes, before it happens again, and i have to completely shut it down. Its my wifes computer, i built hers like mine, but never have this issue on mine, just hers. We use these to mainly game together, and this problem has put a huge damper on it, practically killed it. The screen goes almost completely blank, but always has vertical lines going down the whole screen. Sometimes its like a peachy orange with lines, or sometimes its a charcoal grey with lines.
