I have recently run into the issue of my computer turning off my monitor mid game. The problem keeps getting worse, by that I mean the problem used to maybe take an hour to happen now its only takes around 15 minutes. After the monitor turns off, I can still hear the game and all my usb ports will slowly turn off. I am forced to restart my computer every time this happens.
Fixes I tried:
I recently replaced my power supply unit (from 400 watts to 700). I also recently added two 8 gb sticks of ram. Another fix I tried was upping the fan speed and 2% voltage to the GPU using MSI Afterburn because I had trouble with that overheating.
Specs:
GPU: Radeon RX 580 series
CPU: Amd Ryzen 5 1400 Quad - Core Processor
Power Supply: 700w Rosewill
Ram: Two sticks of DDr4 8 gb ram (new)
Vram: 4096 megabytes
Motherboard: AMD B350
Graphics Card: Msi graphics card radeon rx 580 armor 4gb
Fans: Two on graphics card, on one the right side of the pc and liquid cooling for CPU
It is a cyberpower pc with AMD parts
