[SOLVED] How do i get 144hz on my monitor?

Hello,
I bought a AOC C24G1 monitor and by default it is set to 60hz. I can't find the setting to turn it to 144hz from the monitor's menu (OSD).
Do I need some kind of software? I already tried to install software from AOC's site but i don't know which driver I should install.
I installed an app called Screen+ from their site but it won't start when i click on it.
Any help please?

Oh now I fixed it. I went to display settings in Windows and changed the displays refresh rate there. Didn't evolve the monitor in any way.

Yea the refresh rate is controlled via the OS, not the monitor. Stuff like Freesync or Gsync though is enabled with the card software and OSD on the monitor.
